JTS has always been committed to supporting continuing education for our employees. Among that education is the TIA Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) certification. The exam for the certification tests the knowledge of participants on brokerage, ethics, contracts, pricing, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the latest trends in transportation and business management. Several of our staff members have earned their CTB certification. This further supports our company’s credibility as a highly ethical, knowledgeable and reliable freight broker.

We also encourage our staff to pursue Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees while employed at JTS. At a corporate level we financially support higher education institutions such as Fresno State University, The Fresno Community College campuses, Fresno Pacific University and the many high schools in the area. Our hope is that by investing in these institutions we can help graduate well-rounded, qualified individuals to enter the work force in our communities. JTS has hired many individuals who are graduates of these institutions.
